Monotype Workshop — DIY Program

April 16, 2026
18:30
5th floor, PinchukArtCentre educational room

On Thursday, April 16 at 6:30 PM, we’re inviting you to a DIY workshop where we’ll practice exactly that—seeing the non-obvious and turning it into images.

The session will be led by Lina Fedorenko—an architect, designer, and artist—who will share her approach and inspiration, and show how monotype works: how simple materials and spontaneous choices can turn into striking graphic pieces.

Monotype is a printmaking technique where you use whatever is around you—cardboard, plants, fabric, or even your own body. We’ll experiment with acrylics, create unique textures, and build our own compositions—no drawing skills needed. Often, the most interesting results come when you don’t expect anything from yourself.

The workshop will take place on the 5th floor, in the education room at PinchukArtCentre.
Participation is free, but spots are limited, so registration is required.

The DIY* program is a platform for bringing ideas to life, where participants share what matters to them and the art center team helps make it happen. It’s a space for experimentation and collaborative creativity—a chance to make something with your own hands and meet people with similar interests.
