PinchukArtCentre Announces 20 Nominees for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2022
PinchukArtCentre announces the artists shortlist for the 7th edition of the PinchukArtCentre Prize, a nationwide prize in contemporary art for young Ukrainian artists aged 35 or younger. The shortlist has been formed by the selection committee based on the results of the selection from more than 1000 applications submitted by Ukrainian artists from all regions of Ukraine.
The PinchukArtCentre has created an account in Instagram, the largest social network for sharing photos and video. With a view to help better understand contemporary art and information on how the contemporary art institution operates, the art centre will communicate with its subscribers by posting photos, videos and text information about the ongoing and past exhibitions, unveiling interesting facts and details about artists, their lives, history of their works and the like.
The art centre will keep you informed on the educational and cultural events, on the new arrivals and special offers of the book shop, on the latest offers and events of the cafe, and will also hold various contests and quizzes for active subscribers.
In addition, through Instagram account one can learn more about the art centre’s team, its daily life and preparation for new exhibitions, as well as get answers from the team of PinchukArtCentre curators and experts.

The PinchukArtCentre curators, managers of the educational programs, Communications Department team, tour guides and art centre’s mediators will join forces adding and sharing new posts with users.
Apart from Instagram, the PinchukArtCentre is presented in Facebook and YouTube, and Artsy, a free online platform designed to connect users to art.
Since opening in September 2006 by Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist Victor Pinchuk, the PinchukArtCentre was visited by more than 2.5 million people, and the art centre’s team organized more than 100 exhibitions, including Ukrainian national pavilions at the Venice Biennale in 2007, 2009 and 2015.
