Valentina Petrova

Born in 1984, she lives and works in Kyiv. Uses such media as performance, video, installation, body, embroidery, organic and other materials in her artistic practice. She studied art at the School of Engaged Art Chto Delat, St Petersburg in 2015 and modern art at the Visual Communication School (Kyiv) in 2014. Took part in such projects as WARSAW UNDER CONSTRUCTION 10, Wroclaw, Poland (2018); “A distaff, a sabre and a deer”, the Stanytsya Luganska local history museum, Ukraine (2018), the Kyiv Biennale, Ukraine (2017); “What do I have that a woman has?”, the Visual Culture Centre, Kyiv (2015).
