Call for Applications: Online Intensive for Art Teachers
We invite art teachers of primary and secondary schools to join the 17th online intensive organized by PinchukArtCentre and the Slava Frolova Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art in Ukraine.
The intensive will take place March 9–14 and is designed for 50 teachers from across Ukraine. Applications can be submitted until March 30.
During the week-long online intensive, we will explore:
- the value of cultural education with Slava Frolova, founder of the Foundation for the Development and Support of Young Art of Ukraine;
- working with neurodivergent children with Olha Shyshlova, author and facilitator of educational programs for children and teenagers with intellectual disabilities at PinchukArtCentre;
- art therapy approaches based on the Friedl Dicker-Brandeis’ method with Nataliia Kobernyk, theatre director and art educator;
- participatory musical practices with Anna Khvyl, sound artist, composer, and researcher;
- unlocking creative potential and developing an authentic voice with writer Slava Svitova;
- finding inner resources and supporting yourself and your students with psychologist Marianna Dzheladze;
- understanding contemporary art with curator Ksenia Malykh;
- visual thinking strategies with museum educator Kateryna Okremova;
- inspiration and practical ideas for creative classes with artist Tamara Turliun;
- using artificial intelligence in the classroom with AI expert Khrystyna Zhybak.
Participants will also take part in creative exercises and have the opportunity to discuss their challenges and ideas with fellow participants and the course speakers.
