Presentation of four parallel exhibitions at the PinchukArtCentre

Dear colleagues!

PinchukArtCentre kindly invites you to the presentation of four parallel exhibitions :

• Core project – an exhibition of 20 nominees for the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2011;
• “See to be seen” – a solo exhibition by Brazilian artist Cinthia Marcelle;
• “If there is no water running from your tap” – a solo exhibition by the Ukrainian artist Oleksandr Roytburd in the context of РАС-UA;
• "Collection Platform 2: Circulation" - a completely renewed exposition of selected works by national and international artists from the collection, which include, among others: Banksy, Chuck Close, Marc Quinn, Liza Lou, Boris Mikhailov, Takashi Murakami, Thomas Ruff, Richard Phillips, Olesia Khomenko, Vasiliy Tsagolov and etc.

Special press-view for the mass media representatives will take place on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at 12:00. It will feature all nominees of the PinchukArtCentre Prize 2011: Cinthia Marcelle, Oleksandr Roytburd, as well as General Director of the PinchukArtCentre Eckhard Schneider, Artistic Manager Bjorn Geldhof and Communications Director Dennis Kazvan.

Following the press conference, you will be invited to an exhibition tour guided by the artists and the PinchukArtCentre team members.

Press-view program:

• 11:30 – 12:00 – registration on the 1^st floor of the PinchukArtCentre;
• 12:00 – 12:30 – press conference on the 6^th floor at SkyArtCafe;
• 12:30 – 13:10 – tour of Cinthia Marcelle’s solo exhibition, «Collection Platform 2: Circulation» and Oleksandr Roytburd’s exposition guided by the art centre representatives;
• 13:10 – 15:00 – tour of exhibition and interaction with 20 PinchukArtCentre Prize 2011 nominees, presenting their own works.

The Prize winners award ceremony will take place on December 9, 2011 in Kyiv.
