Eckhard Schneider, General Director of the PinchukArtCentre: “Following our success with the Future Generation Art Prize, we have increased the number of the PinchukArtCentre Prize International Jury members from 5 to 7 persons. This will definitely turn selection process into a more fascinating, impartial and, at the same time, unpredictable act, since we have managed to achieve a balanced representation of the leading artists, gallerists, art critics and museum directors of national and international level.”

Bjorn Geldhof, artistic manager of the PinchukArtCentre, curator of the exhibition: “The body of our International Jury is unique, having Hans Ulrich Obrist, Marc Olivier Wahler and Kate Bush who are top influential curators and directors working worldwide and representing leading international institutions. Ekaterina Degot from Russia is one of the best experts in young Ukrainian art, curating an exhibition of young Ukrainian artists in the PERMM museum this year. With Olafur Eliasson and Pavel Makov we are proud to involve strong critical position on one hand and an international and national point of view on the other hand.”

The winners of the Main and two Special Prizes, besides cash awards of UAH 100 000 and UAH 25 000 respectively, will have one month residence in studios of internationally renowned artists.
